I have never been this thankful (so far).
Great family, good acads, a lot of really true friends and loved ones who always care..
And then, there's you.
Just when I thought my existence was ruined,
Just when I thought my smiles were already part of my past,
Just when I thought my days had faded into nights,It was then that you made me realize that everything's going to be fine.
You would say words that would leave me chuckling around
Yet already completing and brightening my everyday.
You do things which I thought only happen in chick flicks and fairy tales.
You always, always try to be there no matter what.
You make it almost impossible for me to frown and cry now..
You had made it your passion to make me happy,
To put a smile on my face even in the midst of dull moments and anxiety.
I would laugh at the simple things we do
Thoughts would leave me hanging on silent fantasies
Days would make me starry-eyed
Nights would be total sentimental
And as that quotation goes,
Why stay in dreams when reality is much better?
You made me realize the importance of living
How people should be grateful each and every single day
How events can be satisfying if one takes control of it
How life truly is positive..
It's like you appearing out of nowhere (once again),
Holding my hand and keeping me safe until all the goons chasing me disappear.
He isn't a knight who's always there to rescue every damsel in distress and every princess locked in tall towers
Nor is he a superhero who wears a red cape and flies around saving everyone's ass
Nah.
He's just there for me.
For me.
Maybe this is how perfection tastes like.
Ahh. How sweet..
